Frequently Asked

Most activities — animal encounters, stargazing, pool and hot tub access — are included in your stay. Fly fishing requires a Texas fishing license (purchased separately). The moto repair shop charges standard labor and parts rates.

Not at all. Shawn provides professional instruction for complete beginners through to experienced shooters. Safety is paramount — all guests receive a full safety briefing before handling any firearm.

Texas fishing licenses are available online at tpwd.texas.gov or at most sporting goods stores. We recommend getting one before you arrive. Day licenses and annual licenses are both available.

We provide paddling equipment and life vests. Bring sunscreen, water shoes or sandals, and clothes you don't mind getting wet. A dry bag for valuables is recommended.

Yes — riders doing the BDR-X or passing through Edwards County are welcome to use the shop. You don't need to book a guest stay to access the facility. Call ahead when possible so we can make sure someone is around to help.
